Olivia Kirschbaum is a costume designer focused on theatre and dance. Olivia is from Akron, Ohio, and a graduate of Ithaca College, NY with a BFA in Theatrical Production and Design and a Minor in Visual Art.
Her work in costumes bridges design and technical fields, including wardrobe supervisor with Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (2023) and Interm Costume Director at Ballet Hispánico. In between touring she has designed for Winnipesaukee Playhouse, Cumberland County Playhouse, and New York Film Academy.
As a costume designer, I aim to strengthen the intimate connection between a performer and their character. Making sure the character’s appearance provides the actor with the tools needed to communicate the story to an audience.
